Absolutely! Sun Zapper Sunscreen Lotions and Tinted Moisturisers are formulated without Oxybenzone or Octinoxate, which have been found to harm reefs and coral.
Do Sun Zapper products use mineral sunscreens?
Yes, indeed! Our products contain naturally occurring minerals like Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. These minerals sit on the skin's surface and physically block harmful rays, providing you with robust sun protection.
Can I recycle Sun Zapper packaging?
Yes, you can! Our Cardboard packs, Zinc Stick barrels, and caps are recyclable. Please ensure to clean and remove any product residue inside the barrel before recycling.
What does SPF mean and how does it work?
SPF, or Sun Protection Factor, gauges a sunscreen's ability to shield the skin from UVB rays, which can cause sunburns and skin damage. SPF 50+ blocks 98% of UVB rays. To ensure optimal protection, apply a minimum of 35mL for an average adult, reapply every 2 hours, and always reapply after swimming, towelling, or exercising.
What does Broad Spectrum mean?
Broad Spectrum refers to protection from both UVA and UVB sun rays. UVA rays, with their longer wavelength, penetrate deeply and are associated with skin aging. UVB rays, with a shorter wavelength, are associated with skin burning. Our Sunscreen Lotions and Zinc Sticks offer SPF 50+ Broad Spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays.
Are Sun Zapper products water-resistant?
Yes, they are! Our Sunscreen Lotions and Zinc Sticks can resist water for up to 4 hours. Remember to reapply every 2 hours if you swim, sweat, or towel off.

Can babies use Sun Zapper products?
The Australian TGA recommends applying sunscreen to babies from 6 months old. It's also advised to have babies wear protective clothing, hats, and eyewear when exposed to the sun.
What is the expiry date of Sun Zapper products?
